Anaco
Central America is the central geographic region of the Americas. It is variably defined either as being a region of the Americas in its own right or as the southern portion of North America. Physiographically, Central America is a tropical isthmus that connects North and South America. It includes 7 countries and many small offshore islands. Overall, the land is fertile and rugged, and dominated through its heart by a string of volcanic mountain ranges with a few active volcanos. Anaco is a municipality in the Venezuelan state of Anzoategui. It is an industrial town, connected to the natural gas and petroleum industries. In 2005, the population of the city was 106,275 inhabitants. Venezuela, officially the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, is a country on the northern coast of South America. Comprising a continental mainland and several islands in the Caribbean Sea, Venezuela borders Guyana to the east, Brazil to the south and Colombia to the west. Trinidad and Tobago, Curacao, Bonaire, Aruba, and the Leeward Antilles lie just north of the Venezuelan coast. The state capital is Guanare. Anzoategui state is one of the 23 component states of Venezuela, located in the northeastern region of the country. Its capital is the city of Barcelona. Anzoategui is well known for its stunning beaches that attract many visitors.
