Barueri

Central America is the central geographic region of the Americas. It is variably defined either as being a region of the Americas in its own right or as the southern portion of North America. Physiographically, Central America is a tropical isthmus that connects North and South America. It includes 7 countries and many small offshore islands. Overall, the land is fertile and rugged, and dominated through its heart by a string of volcanic mountain ranges with a few active volcanos.

Barueri is a Brazilian city in the state of Sao Paulo. The population in 2003 was 232,150, the population density is 3,627.34 per square kilobmeter and the area of 64 square kilometer.

Its boundaries are Santana de Parnauiba to the north, Osasco in the east, Carapicuiba in the Southeast, Jandira to the south and southwest and Itapevi the west. The city is served by the trains of line B of the Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos, CPTM. In sports, the most notable football soccer club in the city is Gremio Barueri, which plays at Orlando Novelli Stadium.
