Carapicuiba
Central America is the central geographic region of the Americas. It is variably defined either as being a region of the Americas in its own right or as the southern portion of North America. Physiographically, Central America is a tropical isthmus that connects North and South America. It includes 7 countries and many small offshore islands. Overall, the land is fertile and rugged, and dominated through its heart by a string of volcanic mountain ranges with a few active volcanos. Carapicuíba is a city in the state of Sao Paulo in Brazil. It is the most populated municipal cities and one of the smallest in area in the state of Sao Paulo. The population in 2003 is 363,368, its density is 10,381.94 per square kilometers and the area is 35 square kilometers. The suburban city is served by a CPTM, Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos railroad line. Brazil is the largest and most populous country in South America and the fifth largest in the world in both area and population. Spanning a vast area between central South America and the Atlantic Ocean, it is the easternmost country of America and borders every other South American country other than Ecuador and Chile.
