Puerto Cabello
Central America is the central geographic region of the Americas. It is variably defined either as being a region of the Americas in its own right or as the southern portion of North America. Physiographically, Central America is a tropical isthmus that connects North and South America. It includes 7 countries and many small offshore islands. Overall, the land is fertile and rugged, and dominated through its heart by a string of volcanic mountain ranges with a few active volcanos. Puerto Cabello is a municipality on the north coast of Venezuela. Venezuela, officially the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, is a country on the northern coast of South America. Comprising a continental mainland and several islands in the Caribbean Sea, Venezuela borders Guyana to the east, Brazil to the south and Colombia to the west. Trinidad and Tobago, Curacao, Bonaire, Aruba, and the Leeward Antilles lie just north of the Venezuelan coast. The state capital is Guanare. The city is the home to the largest port in the country and is thus a vital part in the country's vast oil industry. In 2001, the population of the city was 154,000 and an area of 729 square kilometers.
A city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, cooperative people and luxurious hotels and cottages, Puerto Cabello is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
