Tibas
Central America is the central geographic region of the Americas. It is variably defined either as being a region of the Americas in its own right or as the southern portion of North America. Physiographically, Central America is a tropical isthmus that connects North and South America. It includes 7 countries and many small offshore islands. Overall, the land is fertile and rugged, and dominated through its heart by a string of volcanic mountain ranges with a few active volcanos. Tibas is the thirteenth county of the province of San Jose, Costa Rica and the first capital. It was formerly known as San Juan del Murcielago. Its population is estimated at 73,000 people. San Jose is a province of Costa Rica. It is located in the central part of the country. It borders from the north clockwise the provinces Alajuela, Heredia, Cartago, Limon and Puntarenas. The capital is San Jose, which is also the capital of the country. The province covers an area of 4,965.3 square kilometers, and has a population of 1,345,750 in 2000.
Tibasis definitely one of the popular tourist attractions in Central America worth paying a visit while touring the country. This place leaves a pleasing and unforgettable memory and justifies the proud cultural tradition of Central America.
